We live in a world where our attention is challenged on multiple layers. Before I dive into the topic on how to manage your attention let´s define what attention management is. Secondly increasing your ability to concentrate is another skill necessary when it comes to managing your attention, let´s look at ways to do this. The third pillar is being more mindful. Being more mindful helps you focus on the areas where you spend most of your time and energy and make changes if needed. Last but not least by creating ways to increase your productivity, you can get into the flow of what you need to do daily. Getting in the flow requires you to be focused and mindful of the task at hand. In conclusion, in today's busy world full of distractions, it is easy to lose yourself and the ability to pay attention to what is important to you. As a career and leadership coach, I can support you on your way to increasing self-leadership to managing your attention.

Effective Leadership Begins with You – 4 areas to focus on
To be an effective leader, you must first be a leader of yourself. Belief in yourself is a tremendous asset to leadership. Your words and your actions can lead others to great heights – but only if you believe that you, too, have powers that are strong and which you strive to develop. To be an example for effective leadership and to make others want to follow, you must develop the following qualities of leadership within yourself: Stand for something – Be an example for others – Be a mentor – Always be on a path of self-discovery.
All leaders must take a journey within and discover their values and why those are their values. You can’t become a leader from a place of weakness. Internal guidance is necessary to navigate through the obstacles in life and bring you to ultimate success.
If you need support to identify your inner compass (your values), Setting up a fruitful mentoring relationship or want to deep dive into your self further as part of your leadership role my coaching will support you to achieve your targets faster.

Career Plans – are they still making sense?
Personally, I think it makes a lot of sense to create a career plan. The career plan helps you to define and visualize your professional goals. It gives you an overview of the goals and intermediate goals and can ensure that you don't lose sight of them.
From this plan you can then crystallize the next 90-day plan quite well. In this way, you can check in with the big goal every quarter to see whether it is still up to date and, if necessary, change the tactics.
I am offering a 5 week online course to explore the important areas and to set up a 90 day plan. During black week I am offering an additional 1:1 coaching call so that you start to take action on your 90 day plan.

Self Care—the Key to Living a Balanced and Satisfying Life
From finding the perfect job, affordable place to live and someone to love, life is filled with rushing from place to place, stress-filled workplaces, concerns about finances and wondering if you're getting enough exercise.
Self-care is one area that is often overlooked in the hustle of daily life. With all of that going on, how can you possibly think about self-care? The real question is, what is it costing you when you don't take care of yourself?
Other ways to practice self-care include letting go of perfectionism, reassessing your priorities, purging toxic people, creating and enforcing boundaries, defining your values and living by them and communicating your emotional needs to the people in your life. Once you’ve done these simple self-care activities, you’ll likely find that your days are happier and your stresses are fewer. And that’s the point of self-care.
